I can't even express how fast time goes. People always say "just you wait, it flies by so fast." I always say "yeah, yeah, sure." But it is very true. I feel like I had Ivy a few weeks ago, and here she is almost a year old. It makes me cry, honestly.
We love our little Ivy so much. She is not only crawling, but walking everywhere.
And she doesn't just walk....she runs...and falls sometimes because she is going so fast...but still runs. Ivy started walking when she was 10 months and 5 days. That little crazy pants wanted to walk early so bad. I have it written down that it was November 9th. Ivy also points to everything now and makes this noise that sounds like "look." It's more of a gurgle than anything, but I think it is the cutest thing in the word. She loves oranges, bread, and any kind of cookies or ice cream. She makes a mess when she eats, and always touches her hair with her messy hands. She says "dada" over and over again, and mom only when she cries. She loves "Da", my mom. Every since we moved out of their house, she misses her; which brings me to my next bit of news....
We bought a house. Yes. Crazy. Terrifying. Exciting. Magical. Scary. Amazing. All good words to describe my feelings. Jason and I had given up on finding a house. We thought it wasn't in the cards for us this year. But this adorable house dropped in price, so we had to go take a look. We fell in love, and we were moved in by Black Friday.
This is just the outside with our Christmas lights on, but I love it. We fell in love with the white kitchen, the wood floors, and the neighborhood feel. Everyone is so nice and we love it so far. Ivy loves zooming and walking on the new floors.
Christmas was so fun with Ivy. She was so excited by her presents, slightly overwhelmed. It was so fun to open presents with her. And, having a white Christmas? Seemed like the best Christmas ever.
Pictures from my phone. These are a bit scattered. But it is the easiest way for updates when I haven't written in a long time.

Who could say no to this face? |
Ivy and I like to dress alike. She always ends up looking cuter than me though. |
She is such a happy baby all the time. |
Jason and I finally able to have a date night. We went to see Mocking Jay and it was amazing. |
We get really excited when we go out. |
And slightly crazy. |

All bundled up for Temple Square lights |
She loved the lights. This was her face the entire time. |
We picked out a real tree from a Christmas lot this year. Jason had never had one, and Ivy loved it. |
Spaghetti Factory fun |
Our 2nd time seeing the lights. Looks like Ivy liked it just as much the 2nd time. |
Our new cozy living room just in time for Christmas |
About a week before Christmas, it was so warm, we walked to the park by our house to see if Ivy liked it. |
Da's amazing yearly Christmas tea party for the girls. A side note. Do you see Rudolph in the background? My mom puts him up every year, and Ivy is obsessed with him. Every time we go to my moms, she goes to the window and waves. She loves Rudolph more than anyone. Don't know what we will do when my mom takes Rudolph down. |
My mom always plans an amazing craft. This year we made Kate Spade Pillow covers out of placemats and cute garlands. |
The cake for the tea party. I know, my mom is the bomb. |

My cute Mom |

This is a picture message I sent to my sisters (we were all wearing out Christmas onesie we got last year the same day). It fits a lot different now that I'm not prego. Most comfy thing ever |

Someone is a fan of Da's butter cookies |
The aftermath. Someone needs a bath. |
And last but not least. Driving through my new neighborhood, I almost had a heart attack when I saw this. Little did I know that this was just a Christmas decoration. |
