We have some news...

We have some news, that everyone already KNOWS!!! I love how I'm posting this at almost 20 weeks pregnant. We found out we were having another little one in August and we were and are thrilled! A week after I found out, I was supposed to run a half marathon. I debated on whether I should still do it. Well, I did it with my sisters, and it was SO FUN, but so hard. It's crazy how your body recognizes you are pregnant immediately and starts to make you feel tired and different.

I am showing way earlier this time as everyone says you will on your 2nd babe, but I'm so excited. My due date is May 4th. Let's just pray he comes early like Ivy did. Oh yes, I said HE! We went to fetal photo about a month ago to find out the gender. Jason and I were convinced it was a girl and were already picking out girl names. We found out it was a boy, and I seriously have never seen Jason smile so big and I bawled my eyes out (because I was happy of course).

At 13 weeks, there was already a bump. How sad this is the only bump picture I've taken.

Also, there was the first snowfall and hasn't been any since!

Selfies with Ivy. Those of you who say she only looks like Jason are crazy, haha.

She does this thing where she licks my face and likes when I say "EW!" She caught me unawares!

Halloween 2015

Ivy loves Curious George, she always has. When she was littler, it was the only show that would catch her attention. Most kids move on to other TV shows, but Ivy Grace is still obsessed with George. So this year for Halloween, we decided that Ivy would be Curious George and Jason would be the man in the yellow hat. Jason kinda looks like him too! I didn't want to be left out, so I was a banana. Yeah, I know, VERY attractive. Just wait till you see the pictures.

I was worried that Ivy wouldn't like trick or treating, but she made it about 30 minutes, which was way longer than I thought she would. She kept taking 2 treats though, instead of 1 (smart girl!) She'd say "Treat or treat" and put her pumpkin up.  I loved taking her around our neighborhood seeing all the cute kids with their costumes.

The pouty face I experience daily.
Trick or treating in the neighborhood.

Ivy Grace is almost 22 Months Old - August - October 2015 Photo Dump

To play catch-up, like always, here are some pictures of what's being going on in life lately, there are a bazillion of them, so brace yourself. In other news, Ivy is so grown up and all the sudden says like a million words. Some of these include: I-I (which means Ivy), Mom, Dad, Da, Papa, Grandma, Grampa, TraTOR (tractor), truck, duck, up, sprite, cookie, tree tree (trick or treat), hat, night-night, baba, bappy (happy), ohhh (pouting), bye, hi, hello, baby, bow, yah, uh huh, no, and many more. I need to slow down time with this almost 2 year old.

Ivy has turned into such a cheeser lately. She loves to chase me around, play tricks on me, and play with me while laughing her head off.
I dyed my hair pink. It only lasted like 1 month, but I LOVED it. Wish it lasted longer. I felt very rebellious!

Went to the amazing Tswift concert with my mom, sisters, and Lucy. The best and most fun concert ever. Look at these homemade shirts...now that's dedication.

Ran into one of my bestest friend's Catherine.

Beautiful Olive June (Taylor and Kelsie's little babe) was blessed. What a wonderful day for the family. She's so adorable. Ivy stole the headband right off her head.
Ivy and I. She doesn't sit still for one second, so getting this picture was a miracle.
Ran the Big Cottonwood Canyon half in 1 hour, 49 minutes. My sisters kept me going. I thought I was going to die. Such a fun race, and so fun to do it with my besties.

My feet were not ready for the steady flow of running downhill.

This girl can't let mom wear a hat without stealing it off her head.
Parker and Ivy playing while we waited for our food at the Spaghetti Factory for Jenn's birthday.
Ivy woke up with croup about a month ago. She could not sleep unless she slept on me. Sick babies are the best and worst thing. You feel needed and loved, but so helpless. We snuggled in bed all day after we went to the Dr. and Smith's to pick up her steroid prescription. Ivy wouldn't let me put her in the cart, so I walked around Smith's, pushing a cart, and covering her mouth when she'd have a croup attack. Man, I got a lot of looks. I kept saying out loud "I'm here for her prescription." Man, I got a lot of "I feel sorry for you looks."
Since Ivy became obsessed with Curious George, and the "Boo Episode", she's been going around "BOO'ing" people. It's one of my favorite things.

Celebrating Kelsie's, papa's, and Alex's birthday.
Even though the lighting isn't the best. This morning before church, Jas and I realized we have a toddler, not a baby. An almost 2 year old who wants to wear her mom's necklace to church.

Such a sassy lady. It is a struggle to get her in her carseat every time now.

The Meek fam took a quick trip to St. George over UEA. It was so fun to get out of the house and away for a couple days. We say "When You Wish" at Tuachan. The most amazing show ever. I loved every second of it.

Ivy poked me in the eye trying to show me something last week. She poked me so hard and so straight on, I couldn't sleep that night. I had to go to my bro-in-law to get some meds for my eye. She scratched the crap out of it.

Our first attempt at Black Island Farms. Ivy was out of control, the lines were out the door. Needless to say, we left and came back another day.
Went with Jamie and her kiddos to Canyon Rim Park for the "Millfreaks Festival." Ivy had such a blast. Her favorite part as you can tell from these pictures was the train ride. Oh how I love her many faces. She was dressed up as Curious George, but got way hot, way too fast.
Pure joy on the train ride.

Curious George in action.

Our second attempt at Black Island Farms...SUCCESSFUL. Ivy loved it so much. ESPECIALLY the "trAtor"

Pure joy for these twinners on the hay ride to pick out pumpkins.

Finding the perfect pumpkin.
I joke about this, but it is true. This is what most of the pictures on my camera look like when I'm trying to take a photo of Ivy. Her sprinting away from me. Captures her perfectly.
She loved the animals, especially the ducks.

My mother-in-law Myra took Ivy to a pumpkin patch with her cousins Parker and Crew when she was babysitting her on Wednesday. What a fun grandma!

My absolute fave picture!
