Christmas with Ivy

Christmas with Ivy was so fun this year. Even though she is little, I could still see the excitement in her eyes. Ivy had fun seeing the lights, being a wisewoman/wise baby in the nativity, going to see the windows at The Grand America, opening her presents, playing with family and so much more! We set up a cute tent for her to put her presents under, and Christmas morning, she bee-lined it for that tent, like literally ran. She didn't really know much what to do after that, but it was still so funny. Prepare for the Christmas picture OVERLOAD!

Of course, Ivy's favorite window of them all was the Rudolph window. Every year, my mom has a Rudolph decoration that she puts on her back porch. The nose glows, and Rudolph moves up and down. When Ivy came over to my Mom's house one time, my mom asked her "Where's Rudolph?" Then every single time we'd go to my mom's after that, Ivy wanted to go and wave to Rudolph out the window, touch him, and go see him. After Christmas, when Rudolph was gone, Ivy was so confused and sad. It was so hilarious. This is why the Rudolph window was her fave I think. She was clapping and waving.

BUT....the best part of the whole thing for Ivy and Sniff was probably the cookies at the end.

AND...then she found the cookies in her stocking.

Meeting Jason Santa. Ivy was not a fan at all. It wasn't until we all sat on his lap that she calmed down.

Best Christmas ever.
