Such a Random Post

This is going to be such a random post I know. I am kind of a bad blogger. It is hard for me to know what I want to write about. I am also bad a taking pictures, so I am definitely not a good blogger as of now. I will be better...someday.

Things that bug me lately

1. Men who wear chokers, or ANY necklaces at all. Stop it men, stop with the pookashells, shell necklaces, and chains. You are not at the beach or a California dude.

2. Sunglasses indoors or at night. Your theme song is not..”I wear my sunglasses at night, so I can…so I can..something.” Hello…I have tried to wear sunglasses at night when my eyes hurt, and I can’t see a dang thing, so quit it people.

3. Vicious Rivalries-People people….it IS possible to be a BYU fan, and root for the U when they are not playing each other (That is what I do!) Just because you are a true U fan, does not mean you have to root against BYU and hate them. Yes, my husband is a culprit of this. I know rivalries are fun...but let's not take it too far!

4. When a restaurant with really good fries doesn’t have any fry sauce…come on…it is the sauce made for fries…buy some…your customers will be happy.

5. Guys who go tanning. If it is a special occasion…go ahead. But it is a NO NO any other time. “The Situation” is no exception.

6. Miley Cyrus…enough said.

7. The new show “My Generation” was canceled only after 2 shows. I am annoyed. I was really into that.

8. That I still haven’t seen the latest Zac Efron movie yet…who have I become?

9. Teenagers who swear their faces off..stop it…I want to wash your mouth out with soap!

Things I miss

1. Alias

2. Lost

3. Taylor…baby step to April.

4. Mexico

5. My husband (I haven't seen him all day)

6. My family all living in Utah.

7. Murphy and Meomix (old pets)

8. My old roomies…shout out.

9. Playdo ice cream from Cherry Hill

10. BYU and Provo sometimes.

11. Bangkok Thai (favorite restaurant in Provo).

12. Our house in Farmington, and our deck out back with the tramp.

13. When we used to put “Armorall” all the tramp to make it super

Slippery, and wear all slippery clothes….SO FUN!

14. My mother’s cooking….I realized I am not even 1/100th as good of a cook as she is.

15. In Jr. High, walking down to Spanky’s and then getting a Jones Soda at Smiths with my friends. Oh..trip down memory lane.

16. Our cabin at Bear Lake…tears.

17. Watching Dance Till Dawn with Jamie, Jenny, and my mom.

18. Being able to run 7 miles without any trouble.

19. Tacos al pastor.

20. The Mandarin…Please open up again, I am sick of you being closed.

21. My Grandpa Meek.

22. Good scary movies (not these nasty horror ones) like “What Lies Beneath” and “Sixth Sense.”

23. Wearing my wedding dress….oh, why did I only get to wear it one day?

24. The rainy season in Mexico.

25. SOCCER (and being good at it).

26. Playing cool computer games “Mckenzie and co” and “Sims”

27. Saved By the Bell (Zach Morris was my first kissing dream!)

28. Going to a movie and New York Burrito with my dad on the weekends when I was growing up.

29. Fighting with Jamie and Jenny (well, I don’t miss this part, but I miss us all being home and close enough to fight!)

30. Watching old fashion Disney movies…time for some lion king, or I wanna watch Mulan. “Let’s get down to business to defeat the huns!”

I gotta stop….too many memories of the past. Sorry for the random blog post!

  6. ooooooooooooh emily. why did you have to go and get a blog? i feel so left out now. but yes. Those were all fantastic things. Here's some more....

    - playing hide and go seek under the garage
    - Watching Rafiki from the Lion King scenes over and over again.. "It doesn't matta, its in de past"
    - Watching Death Becomes Her and Titanic every time they were on... speaking of which. We have to watch Death Becomes Her asap. I can't even remember the last time.
    - Watching GOLLUM scenes over and over again. "What's tatters precious?"
    - Going to the centro... getting our butts grabbed? not so much
    - Going to Teotihuacan... Every month
    - Living next to the old retired Spanish Soap Opera star who would throw CRAZY fiestas and had a pet parrot on a cage on her roof.
    - Pretty mexico flowers, and the tangerine house.... pretty much all the painted houses.
    - Bunk beds. Random memory? Me throwing up onto the floor from the top bunk of our bunk beds, while you were sleeping on the bottom.
    - Me sneaking in your room after you were already asleep and stealing murphy from the foot of your bed, only to tell you in the morning that he was whining to come into my room. hahahaha.
    - Stealing golf balls from the golf course
    - Having bb gun wars on the multiple roofs of the mission home.
    - The machine in the mission office that would bind our books professionally. Really? that was random.
    - You making me sleep in your bed with you sometimes, and playing the movie game and song games. I don't think anyone ever won those games, we just would fall asleep.
    - THE CRAZY LADY! in the cow suit the missionaries gave her.
    - Christmas in Mexico... pinatas.
    - El Dia De Independencia in Mexico, and the mariachi bands they would bring in the school.
I could go on forever. But this is depressing me. We are so old.
